Baby Ellis was born to fantastic parents. I've known Justin and Elizabeth for a few years, ever since they purchased the home my husband and I spent a decade remodeling, located in a neighborhood that we love and still return to so we can visit with old friends. We brought home our first two babies to this house, and our first memories as a family are here.

I've known Justin and Elizabeth for a few years, ever since they purchased the home my husband and I spent a decade remodeling, located in a neighborhood that we love and still return to so we can visit with old friends. We brought home our first two babies to this house, and our first memories as a family are here. We liked Justin and Elizabeth from the start, are happy to call them friends, and thrilled to welcome their son, Ellis, to this world! To photograph this little boy in the room we brought our son home to almost exactly seven years earlier, was a surreal experience. I can picture all the memories I have in these spaces, and I'm so happy for this family to make many of their own. There has been happiness, love and laughter within these walls for many, many years, and I know Justin, Elizabeth and their son will keep it going strong. Congratulations to the very blessed little boy who has these two individuals as parents, and we look forward to hearing about all of your future adventures as a family.

They decided to have a small, intimate ceremony with the most important humans and animals in their life. We had all come together for a wonderful weekend to celebrate these two, but Sarah and Scott had a surprise for their parents in this clearing. It was a traditional-ish ceremony. Scott put his grandpa's knife in his pocket, and Sarah wore her father's watch. The couple waited for their parent's to be dropped off and walk the designated path they were instructed to follow. Tears, laughs, poignant quotes, beautiful thoughts and promises were abundant. By the power invested in them, they married themselves (because that's legal in Colorado)! I love these two people, their parents, and their canines. It was such an honor to capture these moments.

It's been a very rainy and wet summer in Colorado, but there was not a cloud in the sky on Andrea's and Casey's wedding day. They married at Boettcher Mansion in Golden, Colorado surrounded by friends, family and the Rocky Mountains. They toasted to a beautiful future with Stranahan's Whiskey and it was obvious that a good time was had by all. You look at these two and you know they have something special together.
