About C. Roese Ramp

Meet C. Roese Ramp, photographer who specializes in documenting events and the daily life of families and those moments in life that you want to be unforgettable.

Six months after I was born, my mom realized there had been no film in the camera, so no pictures to show for it, cementing a lifelong interest in photography and a passion for capturing the indelible memories that you don’t want to miss.

Born in Michigan and a Notre Dame Fine Arts graduate, today I call Colorado home. I have lived in Chile and England, and traveled across five continents, snapping photos of everything from Palestinian kids playing soccer in the street to Byzantine churches on the island of Cyprus. My photography includes weddings in Colorado, the Bahamas, Poland and Italy. And Hutchinson, MN.

My own wedding ceremony was cancelled because of Hurricane Wilma, but we made it work, turning rehearsals into the real thing. Our photographer flew into the front-edge of the storm anyways, just to help make sure our celebration was captured in full.

Photographs are a part of who we are – our memories, our identity, and our perspective on life. What started when I bought my first SLR camera in 1996 has turned into incredible experiences along the way.

My husband and I live near Denver with our three amazing children and golden retriever. We spend a lot of time exploring Colorado with the kids, pretending to be superheroes, and dancing in the living room.

Thanks for reading. Can’t wait to meet you.
